Ruth F. Cousineau, M.D, F.A.C.O.G

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Ruth F. Cousineau earned a B.S. in Biology from Stanford University before earning her medical doctorate from UCLA School of Medicine in 1984. She completed her internship and residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Cousineau was elected from her peers as Clinical Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and is named “Top Doctor” by US News and World Report. She has also been honored by the Cedars-Sinai Circle of Friends program. Her charity involvement includes the Cedars-Sinai Helping Hand of Los Angeles, Shane’s Inspiration, the March of Dimes, and the Aviva Center, among others.


Robert F. Katz, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Robert F. Katz completed his internship, residency and chief residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Katz has been a premier provider for the women of Beverly Hills for over 25 years-being named “Top Doctor” by US News and World Report and “Super Doctor” by the LA Times Magazine. As a founding member of the Cedars-Sinai Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, Dr. Katz is a leader of the hospital community and has served on the OB/GYN Performance Improvement Committee, the physician Peer Review Board for OB/GYN, and the hospital-wide Medical Executive Committee. He was awarded The Golden Rattle Award in 2009 by the March of Dimes for his unrivaled care of mothers and babies in the Los Angeles Community. Dr. Katz enjoys teaching the residents and medical students of UCLA and Cedars-Sinai and is passionate about his charity involvement with HELPS International (an annual medical mission trip to Guatemala), the March of Dimes, Shane’s Inspiration, the Hirshberg Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, and the Jewish Federation.

Jay M. Goldberg, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Jay M. Goldberg earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1996 after completing his undergraduate education at the University of California-San Diego. He completed his internship and residency training at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. As a founding member of the Cedars-Sinai Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, he has been at the forefront of laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. Dr. Goldberg has been awarded the Cedars-Sinai Obstetrician of the Year award and was recipient of the Golden Apple Award-given by the resident physicians he teaches. His charity work includes: Autism Speaks, Hirshberg Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, First Ladies Initiative Birthing Center in Namibia, and Hole in the Wall summer camps.

Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz, M.D. F.A.C.O.G.

A Diplomat of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology,Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz received her medical degree in 1996 from the USC School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Gilberg-Lenz is involved in women’s empowerment and public education, and appears frequently as an expert in women’s health and integrative medicine on TV, in print and on-line. She completed her clinical Ayurvedic Specialist degree at California College of Ayurveda in 2010 and was board certified in Integrative and Holistic medicine in 2008. Dr. Gilberg-Lenz has appeared on Dr. Drew’s “Lifechangers”, The Tyra Banks Show, The Today Show, Headline News and Bill O’Reilly’s “No Spin Zone”. Dr Gilberg-Lenz is co-founder of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s Green Committee and is deeply committed to the promotion of healing that involves individuals, families, communities and the planet. She and her family give back by devoting their time to charities including the Big Sunday Organization and Gramercy Housing Group.

David L. Finke, M.D. F.A.C.O.G.

A Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. David L. Finke received his undergraduate and Medical Doctor degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2006. He completed his post-graduate training as Administrative Chief Resident at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he received the award for Outstanding Academic Achievement and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Award. He is very active in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has a special interest in healthcare reform. Dr. Finke believes that patient education is the foundation of a good patient-physician relationship and was awarded “Top OB/GYN” and “Most Compassionate OB/GYN” in California by HealthTap.com in 2011-12. His charity involvement includes working with Living Advantage, Inc. of Los Angeles, Run for Her, and the Saban Free (LA Free) Medical Clinics.

Dr. Naomi Suriel, M.D.

Women’s Care of Beverly Hills is proud to welcome Dr. Naomi Suriel .

Dr. Suriel  has been in practice for over 20 years, providing excellent general and high-risk obstetrics and gynecology care in Beverly Hills and Redondo Beach.

Born in Los Angeles and educated at UCLA, with a B.S. degree in Mathematics/Applied Science, she went on to earn her M.D. degree, completing her education at Rush Medical College in Chicago and graduating from SUNY Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn, NY.  She then completed a residency program in Ob/Gyn at Cornell-affiliated New York Downtown Hospital.

Dr. Suriel served as Medical Director of a woman’s health center in Manhattan Beach, Ca. prior to expanding her practice to include Beverly Hills in 1997.

Dr. Suriel knew from a young age that she would deliver babies one day.  She is fulfilling her dream and is honored to participate in this very intimate, special occasion in a family’s life.  She is active in the West Los Angles community where she lives with her husband and children.

Dr. Suriel is American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) Certified and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics Gynecology (ACOG).

Lia LaBrant, M.D. F.A.C.O.G.

Women’s Care of Beverly Hills is proud to welcome our newest associate to our practice, Dr. Lia LaBrant.

Dr. Lia LaBrant graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Washington.

She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. LaBrant comes to us following many research projects and volunteer positions with rural hospitals in Ethiopia and Malawi, Africa. She spent time as well with an emergency service program providing aid in North Portland, Oregon.

She has given many hours of service in our community at local hospitals and free clinics.

Lia has published many articles dealing with women’s issues from gynecologic malignancies to the needs of reducing the risk of primary breast cancer in women.

We welcome Dr. Lia LaBrant and know that she will bring her special commitment to her patients at Women’s Care of Beverly Hills.

Diahnn F. Campbell, M.D.

Dr. Campbell completed her undergraduate training at the University of California, San Diego where she studied Biology and also participated in collegiate basketball. She then went on to work as a researcher at the Moores Cancer Center, where she published a number of articles pertaining to novel breast cancer immunotherapies. She earned her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, and completed her internship and residency training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. During her training at Cedars Sinai she continued her interests in research, looking to identify risk factors for readmission for preeclampsia as well as improving obstetrical trauma documentation. Dr. Campbell is well trained in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopy. She is a native to the Los Angeles area and is committed to delivering comprehensive and excellent obstetrical and gynecological care to the women in her community.

Nurse Practitioners

Rachel Murray, MSN, WHNP-BC

Rachel is a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with experience delivering excellent prenatal and gynecologic care. Prior to joining WCBH, Rachel practiced women’s health in both the private practice and public health settings. She earned her B.A. from Washington College and her RN and MSN from Vanderbilt University. Rachel’s passion for women’s health is unwavering. Her mission is to give women a safe space to discuss their health, learn about their bodies, and leave the office feeling empowered mentally and physically. In her spare time, Rachel takes her love for health to the yoga mat. In 2015, she earned her yoga teacher training certificate in Baptiste Power Yoga and continues to practice today.

Kristina Hagopian, MSN, CNM, WHNP-BC

Kristina Hagopian is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

She received her Bachelors in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University. She attended Georgetown University where she completed her Masters in Nursing with a concentration in Midwifery and Women’s Health.

During her training at Kaiser Permanente, she had the opportunity to work with women in all avenues of health, including: gynecological, prenatal, labor and birth, postpartum, and menopause.

Kristina believes in fully educating women about their health issues and providing them with the utmost care.
