Ruth F. Cousineau, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Ruth F. Cousineau earned a B.S. in Biology from Stanford University before earning her medical doctorate from UCLA School of Medicine in 1984. She completed her internship and residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Cousineau has been a pioneer for women’s health in Los Angeles for over 25 years-and has been named “Top Doctor” by US News and World Report. She has been elected by her physician peers as a leader in the OB/GYN department-serving as the Clinical Chief of Gynecology and has been honored by the Cedars-Sinai Circle of Friends program. Her charity involvement includes the Cedars-Sinai Helping Hand of Los Angeles, Shane’s Inspiration, the March of Dimes, and the Aviva Center, among others.
Robert F. Katz, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Robert F. Katz completed his internship, residency and chief residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Katz has been a premier provider for the women of Beverly Hills for over 25 years-being named “Top Doctor” by US News and World Report and “Super Doctor” by the LA Times Magazine. As a founding member of the Cedars-Sinai Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, Dr. Katz is a leader of the hospital community and has served on the OB/GYN Performance Improvement Committee, the physician Peer Review Board for OB/GYN, and the hospital-wide Medical Executive Committee. He was awarded The Golden Rattle Award in 2009 by the March of Dimes for his unrivaled care of mothers and babies in the Los Angeles Community. Dr. Katz enjoys teaching the residents and medical students of UCLA and Cedars-Sinai and is passionate about his charity involvement with HELPS International (an annual medical mission trip to Guatemala), the March of Dimes, Shane’s Inspiration, the Hirshberg Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, and the Jewish Federation.
Jay M. Goldberg, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Jay M. Goldberg earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1996 after completing his undergraduate education at the University of California-San Diego. He completed his internship and residency training at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. As a founding member of the Cedars-Sinai Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, he has been at the forefront of laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. Dr. Goldberg has been awarded the Cedars-Sinai Obstetrician of the Year award and was recipient of the Golden Apple Award-given by the resident physicians he teaches. His charity work includes: Autism Speaks, Hirshberg Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, First Ladies Initiative Birthing Center in Namibia, and Hole in the Wall summer camps.
Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz, M.D.
A Diplomat of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz received her medical degree in 1996 from the USC School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Gilberg-Lenz is involved in women’s empowerment and public education, and appears frequently as an expert in women’s health and integrative medicine on TV, in print and on-line. She completed her clinical Ayurvedic Specialist degree at California College of Ayurveda in 2010 and was board certified in Integrative and Holistic medicine in 2008. Dr. Gilberg-Lenz has appeared on Dr. Drew’s “Lifechangers”, The Tyra Banks Show, The Today Show, Headline News and Bill O’Reilly’s “No Spin Zone”. Dr Gilberg-Lenz is co-founder of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s Green Committee and is deeply committed to the promotion of healing that involves individuals, families, communities and the planet. She and her family give back by devoting their time to charities including the Big Sunday Organization and Gramercy Housing Group.
David L. Finke, M.D.
A Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. David L. Finke received his undergraduate and Medical Doctor degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2006. He completed his post-graduate training as Administrative Chief Resident at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he received the award for Outstanding Academic Achievement and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Award. He is very active in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has a special interest in healthcare reform. Dr. Finke believes that patient education is the foundation of a good patient-physician relationship and was awarded “Top OB/GYN” and “Most Compassionate OB/GYN” in California by HealthTap.com in 2011. His charity involvement includes working with Living Advantage, Inc. of Los Angeles, Run for Her, and the Saban Free (LA Free) Medical Clinics.
Dale R. Perry, MSN, FNP-BC
A certified family nurse practitioner with a special interest in women’s health, Ms. Dale R. Perry earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Pace University Graduate School of Nursing in New York in 1978. Since joining WCBH in 2007, Ms. Perry has continued her interest in taking care of women by completing a course in women’s sexual function. She is excited to offer these specialized skills to her patients. She has also continued with her interest in naturopathic alternatives for common female problems such as yeast infections. She remains active in local, state and national organizations that support nurse practitioner practice and women’s health. Her charities include the ACLU, Women Against Gun Violence, and Planned Parenthood.
